About
I’m a neuropathology fellow and postdoctoral researcher at Stanford University, currently working in the laboratories of Theo Roth and Michelle Monje.
My work sits at the intersection of neuropathology, immunology, and genome engineering. I’m currently using non-viral high-throughput genetic engineering technologies to develop CNS-enhanced CAR T-cell therapies for malignant brain tumors. I’m also involved in biomarker validation for several CAR T-cell clinical trials in pediatric and adult brain tumors.
I completed my MD and PhD in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Florida, where my doctoral work focused on immunotherapy for medulloblastoma in Duane Mitchell’s lab. Before residency, I was an early employee at iOncologi, a biotech startup developing hematopoietic stem cell therapy and mRNA vaccines for brain tumors.
Outside of work, I’m a husband, father, and powerlifter.
